The government has teamed up with banks to guarantee loans up to $500,000 for small to medium sized business with turnover between$250,000 and $80 million.
Small business can access loans through an IRD scheme offering $10,000 to every firm plus $1800 per equivalent full-time employee. Loans will be interest free if they are paid back within a year.
